I would be honored to serve as a Trustee for the Houston Municipal Employees’ Pension System. I am currently in my 13th year as a public servant with the City of Houston in the Housing and Community Development Department. In my role as Assistant Director, I currently manage programs with over $170 million in grants and Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) funding and have managed over $400 million in projects. I have obtained my Lean Six Sigma-Green Belt in Process Improvement, managed budgets for Single Family Operations to include Down Payment Assistance, Home Repair, New Home Development, Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) and Disaster Recovery.

I have had the opportunity to work with municipalities and the State of Texas managing construction financing for the last 27 years. I have served as Exchequer (Treasurer) for Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., treasurer for Cornerstone Church and treasurer for my community little league sports teams. I currently serve as Committee Panel Representative for Houston Organization of Public Employees (HOPE-Local 123) Grievance Committee and volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and United Way. I hold a Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry.
